Oil Cooler

Cause of Heat Generation in the Hydraulic Elevator
∙ Pressure loss occurs by internal friction, viscous resistance,
and leakage in the hydraulic pump.
∙ Pressure drops in the control system and pipeline.
∙ Pressure loss in pressure relief and pressure reducer.
∙ Hydraulic oil temperature rises by damaging or loss of the motor.
Temperature Effects on the Elevator
∙ Elevating temperature means increasing viscosity of oil. Viscosity increases then control valve does not work correctly.
∙ Increase of oil temperature affects adversely to the hydraulic motor.
∙ Oil change period is shorten due to lower viscosity of the hydraulic oil.
Reason of Using Oil Cooler
∙ Recommend that installing oil cooler is to protect the equipment and maintain renewal of hydraulic oil and comfortable ride.
